Cave of the Winds, Return to Clear Creek, & Home!
On rainy Monday, we headed to Cave of the Winds to check it out. Adam was quite surprised by how pristine they had made everything in setting it up for tours by the general public. A very different cave experience than when we taught caving classes in college! It was still neat to see the cool rock formations though!

Odub had a great time playing with Uncle Chris and his cousins while we climbed! (Photos by Uncle Chris)
It was great to come home to our house & dog.
And Odub was super excited to see his Duplos! 5 seconds in the house and he had dumped them out and started building!
Group shot!
They had one spot you were allowed to touch.
On Tuesday the weather improved! But after so much rain, climbing sandstone in Garden of the Gods was not a good idea. Luckily, my Uncle Chris offered to watch Odub so Adam and I could meet Jeff & Jackie at Clear Creek Canyon to climb in the morning. It was cool to finish our trip in the same place it started (Little Eiger in Clear Creek Canyon is the place we climbed our first day of the trip with Nate) and really nice for Adam & I to climb together for the first time all trip! Sadly, it appeared that all of Colorado had the same idea, the place was super crowded! Despite the crowds and some wet rock, we got some good climbs in though on the nice long sport routes there.

On Wednesday we were up early to head into Denver, return the van & get to the airport. We made it to our flight, survived a very active Odub on the flight, & made it home!

This was an awesome trip! Lots of thanks to Jeff for climbing with us for 3 weeks & putting up with a toddler! And thanks to Allison for watching Angua so we could go on the trip! And thanks to Uncle Chris for letting us stay with him at the end of the trip! And thanks to Mom & Liz for taking us to/picking us up from the airport!
